blackVPN is consistently rated as one of the fastest and most reliable VPN services. All of our VPN servers are connected with 100 Mbit or 1000 Mbit connections.

There is no way to say what speeds you will get with the VPN as that depends on what latency and routing you get to our servers, how loaded the server you connect to is at the moment, routing & latency to the server that you are downloading from and how loaded the server that you are downloading from is.

The further you are geographically from the VPN server the higher the latency will be. Therefore your speed will be slower.
For example:
  • A 100 Mbit connection with 0% packet loss and 10ms of latency will give maximum speed of 52.42 Mbps (per flow)
  • A 100 Mbit connection with 0% packet loss and 25ms of latency will give maximum speed of 20.97 Mbps (per flow)
  • A 100 Mbit connection with 0% packet loss and 100 ms of latency will give maximum speed of 5.24 Mbps (per flow)
